VWL 3D Scanning Doppler LiDAR
VWL
The VWL is a 3D scanning Doppler lidar that measures wind speed and direction at heights from 60 m to 6000 m by detecting the Doppler frequency shift of pulsed laser returns from the atmosphere. It uses an eye-safe 1550 nm wavelength and is supplied in the UK by MetSensor UK.
