ZWQ500 Multi-Parameter Water Quality Meter

ZWQ500

The ZWQ500 is a combined probe that measures temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and turbidity from a single housing, with COD, chlorophyll or cyanobacteria available as factory options. It is designed for long-term unattended deployment in surface water or groundwater and reports data over RS485 Modbus RTU, with RS232, WiFi, Bluetooth or LTE also supported. MetSensor UK supplies the ZWQ500 as the official UK reseller of Zata IoT sensors.

  • Five core parameters (temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity) in one probe body
  • Optional COD, chlorophyll or cyanobacteria channels
  • RS485 Modbus RTU standard, with RS232, WiFi, Bluetooth and LTE options
  • DC 12V/24V or solar power supply
  • Rated for 0-6 bar operating pressure, suited to submerged deployment

Frequently asked questions

What parameters does the ZWQ500 measure as standard?+

The standard configuration measures temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and turbidity. COD, chlorophyll and cyanobacteria are available as optional add-on channels.

Can the ZWQ500 run on solar power?+

Yes. It accepts DC 12V/24V or a solar power supply, which suits unattended remote monitoring stations.

What is the operating pressure rating?+

The ZWQ500 is rated for 0-6 bar, allowing submerged or in-pipe installation.

How does the ZWQ500 communicate with a data logger?+

It communicates over RS485 using Modbus RTU as standard. RS232, WiFi, Bluetooth and LTE options are also available for remote or wireless telemetry setups.
